Digital Marketer with SEO Experience Job Vacancy Position - Oracom Uganda
Job Summary
Oracom Uganda is seeking Digital Marketer with SEO experience with a passion for digital marketing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of improving website visibility, increasing organic traffic, and staying up to date with the latest SEO trends and tools. As part of Oracom Uganda’s commitment to growth, you will also be expected to train internal teams and clients on SEO strategies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and optimise SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings for various company brands.
Conduct SEO audits and identify areas for improvement in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
Perform keyword research and analysis to guide content strategy and ensure SEO alignment.
Collaborate with content creators and developers to ensure website SEO best practices are met.
Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and emerging SEO tools
Analyze and report on SEO performance metrics, providing actionable insights.
Train and mentor internal teams and clients on SEO best practices, including workshops and online sessions.
Monitor website traffic, organic growth, and ranking performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
Support marketing campaigns by advising on SEO-friendly content and strategies.
Opportunities
Proven 2+ years of experience as an Digital Marketer & SEO Expert, with a strong portfolio of successful SEO strategies.
Deep understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factor
Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, and Ahrefs.
Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and HTML/CSS basics.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret SEO data and trends.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for teaching and training purposes.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
A passion for staying ahead of SEO trends and continuously learning.
Bonus
Previous experience teaching SEO concepts or conducting digital marketing workshops.
Having trained and achieved certification in Digital Marketing and SEO
Can train clients who choose not to have the services but instead be trained to do it themselves.
